every Saturday, the coast at Pangandaran gets flooded with Indonesian weekenders, who come there to surf, karaoke and eat. The rest of the week, the beach is deserted
except for the tourists, who come there especially 'enjoy the beach at it's most unspoiled', avoiding the locals at any cost...

well, it's been a while, due to a newborn, a new job, and a new home...but I'm guessing it's never too late to 'reanimate' my blog, with pictures I actually took quite a while ago. In 2010, I travelled around Indonesia, and I just had to break with all my previous photographs by shooting images in colour. It's impossible not to, it just wouldn't capture the country in all it's messy, weird, vibrant beauty. So: new start, new style!
