Already it seems ages ago, but last year, on new years day, I was in Istanbul. Always a nice thing to be able to say: "hey, let's go and visit Asia today". The ferry we took was actually much smaller, but I love the way the large car ferries still have this old-fashioned look about them, working their way across the Bosporus night and day
